How does it all work

SuperTradie is very simple to use. Renovators, please follow these three easy steps to Register, Post a Job, and Find a Tradie.

Renovators:

1. Register

Signing up is easy. You'll just need to provide a few details about yourself to set up your profile, including a username and password. No payment or credit card details are required to use SuperTradie.

2. Post a Job

Once you're logged in, post a job via the shortcut from the homepage or within the Renovator's area. Give your job a title and ensure you select the Type of Job from the drop down list. Remember to provide as much detail as possible. This will improve your chances of finding the right match. You can also upload images or plans. Click 'Post this job' and Tradies will be able to search and view your job listing. You can edit or cancel your job at any time. You can post multiple jobs at a time if you like.

3. Find a Tradie

After you've posted your job, Tradies that match your description will then be able to apply for the job. Your Renovator Login will enable you to monitor the job applications and select up to 3 applicants to shortlist. You can communicate with these applicants (through the site or by other means) so that they can provide quotes, or you can meet. Once you've reached a decision, you can then change the status of the job on the website, indicating that the job is now awarded. After the job has been completed, you can close the job and choose to recommend the Tradie.

Note, no payment is required to be made through the SuperTradie website. You should make arrangements with your Tradie about how payment for the job will be made.

Tradies:

SuperTradie is very simple to use. Tradies, to create your own profile follow these easy steps and you're ready for business.

1. Register

To register and purchase membership, you'll need to choose your username and password and fill out some details about your Areas of Expertise. Enter your credit card details and you're ready to search for jobs.

2. Search for a Job

You can explore jobs in your area by using the quicksearch tool. If you find a job that suits your experience and schedule, you can apply to be shortlisted. Renovators do not have the option to search for your profile; they'll only be able to contact you if you apply for their job. Your Tradie Area will list the jobs you've applied for so you can keep track. To see some examples of what you will find in a job listing click here.

3. Get a Job

If you're shortlisted, you'll need to communicate with the Renovator to arrange a quote or meeting. If you win the job, the Renovator will list the job as awarded until the project is complete. Remember to encourage the Renovator to come back to SuperTradie to close the job listing. When they do, they'll be able to recommend your work.

Note, the only payment that is made through the SuperTradie website is membership fees. You should make arrangements with your Renovator about how payment for the job will be made.
