The SuperTradie website is free to use for Renovators. The payment for any work provided by a Tradesperson is done outside of the website so you should make sure to make separate arrangements with your Tradie.
Tradies pay a yearly membership fee to be able to search and apply for jobs and have their profile listed on SuperTradie.
This is when Tradies will be able to view your job listing and apply for the job if it matches their area of expertise. Once a Tradie has applied for the job, you will be able to shortlist up to 3 Tradies and provide more details if necessary.

When you have chosen the Tradie for your job, click the ‘Award' button to award that Tradie with the job. They will be notified that they have won the job and you can start to make the necessary arrangements.
Yes, once a job is completed you will have the option to recommend that Tradie, and they will be able to recommend you. The amount of recommendations a user has is listed as a number next to their username.

To register and purchase membership, you'll need to choose your username and password and fill out some details about your Areas of Expertise. You'll need to make a payment for membership and then you're ready to search for jobs.
SuperTradie membership is $600 + GST per year for Trades people. The annual membership fee is the only cost associated with using SuperTradie, and it will enable you to search and apply for as many jobs as you choose in that 12 month period.

You can now explore jobs in your area by using the quick search or the advanced search found in the Tradie Homepage area. If you find a job that suits your experience and schedule, you can apply to be shortlisted. Renovators do not have the option to search for your profile; they'll only be able to contact you if you apply for their job. Your Tradie Area will list the jobs you've applied for so you can keep track.

Any Tradie registered with SuperTradie can apply for a listed job. However, the Home Renovator will only be able to shortlist and communicate with up to 3 Tradies. Therefore, if you are shortlisted, you know you will only be competing against a maximum of 2 other Tradies to win the job. The Home Renovator will then be able to award one Tradie with the job. This is an area that we monitor closely to endeavour to maintain the correct balance between the amount of work advertised on the site and the tradesmen available to do the work.

Your profile page is your opportunity to sell yourself. This is the page that Home Renovators will view and hopefully shortlist you for a job. You should provide details about your area of expertise and relevant experience. Once you are shortlisted it's important to communicate with the Home Renovator in order to clarify the details of the job or set up a meeting time.
